Returns will only be accepted within 90 calendar days of the invoice date (order ship date), Customer is responsible for shipping the product(s) back, no residential or business pick-up orders (call tags) will be issued. Please package the items well for return shipment. Stephen Allen’s will not be responsible for items lost or damaged by the carrier during return transit.

If you ordered the wrong product:

  • Purchases are returnable within 90 days of shipment. A 20% restocking fee applies to all “wrong product order” returns. Ship returns to: Stephen Allen’s 17402 NW 46th Ave. PO Box 559 Newberry, FL 32669. Enclose a copy of of your invoice with the returned item(s). Price differences in items will either be charged or credited to your account accordingly. Credits for “wrong part ordered” merchandise returned WILL NOT include the original or return shipping charges.

If we sent the wrong product:

  • Notify us immediately and Stephen Allen’s will ship the correct item(s). SA will always honor the original shipping method of the order when sending out exchange or replacement items. Price differences in items or upgraded shipping methods will either be charged or credited to your account accordingly. SA will reimburse return shipping charges on the incorrect item(s).

Short Shipments:

  • Recheck the contents of the package and packing materials thoroughly. If you did not receive all of the products ordered or the quantity ordered, then contact Stephen Allen’s by e-mail or phone. Have your invoice number ready when calling (located on the upper right corner.) All claims must be made within 10 days after receipt of shipment. An inventory count of the short shipped item will be conducted. After SA has determined the validity of the claim, the item will be sent free of charge. This process takes approximately 1-2 business days but depends upon the availability of the product.

Defective Items:

  • Defective parts can be returned within 90 days without a restocking fee (excluding electrical & used items.) Please contact Stephen Allen’s immediately to report defective items. Have your invoice number ready when calling (located on the upper right corner). SA will resend a replacement for the defective item at no charge. Don’t return the defective item(s) yet, there may be no need to send it back. Contact us at 352.472.9369 to find out. (M-F 9am-5pm EST)

Damaged Items:

  • If contents are found damaged when your package is opened, contact Stephen Allen’s immediately to report the damaged delivery. Have your invoice number ready when calling (located on the upper right corner). Keep all packing materials and the damaged box as they may be required to make a claim with the carrier. SA will follow through with the claim & resend the item(s) that were damaged in transit at no charge. Don’t return the damaged item(s) yet, there may be no need to send them back. Electrical items:

  • Due to the sensitive nature of older automotive electrical systems, there is a no return policy on all electrical items. However, if a malfunction of electrical products should occur while used in its recommended environment, Stephen Allen’s, at our option, will repair or replace the product, provided the product or any part thereof has not been abused, misused, neglected, replaced, repaired or modified. SA shall make the final determination as to the existence and cause of any defect & if a replacement part will be sent at our expense.

Used Items:

  • Many of Stephen Allen’s used items are sold “as is” and therefore non-returnable. SA will make every effort to inform the customer of the quality & condition of the used item(s) before the sale. If the used item(s) is eligible for return, SA will issue a credit less shipping charges. A 20% restocking fee may apply to used item returns.

Core Returns

**All cores must be in rebuildable condition

  • Purchaser is responsible for return shipping charges on all cores
  • No core substitutions allowed. For refund, cores must match the replacemment part(s) originally sent (manufacturer match excluded.)
  • Ocassionally, Stephen Allen’s buys Studebaker cores (ie: brake shoes, water pumps, P/S pumps, starter drives, ect). If you have cores you would like to sell, please e-mail.
  • Core charges will be refunded within 10 business days of receipt of cores. Refunds will be made in the same form of payment originally used for purchase.
  • If you wish to apply core refunds as “house credit” with Stephen Allen’s, please contact us.
